About
Modern research from institutions like Stanford and the University of Chicago has confirmed something we all feel: People are more “connected” digitally than ever, but real human connection is declining.
Nearly 50% of adults report feeling lonely or disconnected, and dating apps — once meant to bring us together — often leave us feeling even more isolated. Endless swiping. Shallow interactions. No shared experiences. No spark.
Lov Appétit was created to change that. We believe technology should enhance connection, not replace it — and the best way to bring people together is through something all humans understand: Food. Laughter. Shared experience.

Mission
Lov Appétit blends guided cooking experiences with intentional, human-centered conversation. Whether you’re single and hoping to meet someone new, or part of a couple looking to reignite connection, Lov Appétit creates an atmosphere where real chemistry can develop. Our philosophy is simple: “Connection happens when people feel comfortable, present, and engaged.” Cooking together does all three.

Vision
Cooking activates parts of the brain linked to bonding, trust, and emotional openness. When people prepare a meal together, barriers fall away — the experience becomes a shared journey rather than a performance.
This is why we don’t rush the process.
Our dating events may use timed “mini dates,” but nothing about the atmosphere feels rushed. You’ll be cooking, laughing, tasting, and engaging naturally — not sprinting through awkward conversations. We call it slow-dating disguised as speed dating.

Our
Process
